Fixing Units at the Front
The most professional looking method of fixing rigid units together is to simply unclip the doors from the units, remove the hinge plates on the carcass and then to screw the units together behind the hinge plate. Once done, refit the hinge plates and door, this method means there are no visible fixings in the front of the cabinet.
Fixing Units at the rear
Most fitters will fix the cabinets together at the rear as well as the front, to do this simply screw through the side gables of the two units you wish to join, just behing the service void, again this leaves you with no visible fixings once the work surfaces are installed.
